What is ozonated olive oil?
Ozonated olive oil is olive oil that has had medical-grade ozone bubbled through it until the oxygen bonds into the oil’s fatty acids as stable compounds called ozonides. The result is a thicker, oxygen-rich oil with a faint, clean, slightly metallic scent. It has been used on skin for about a century, and most of what is sold today is a dense paste in a jar.
OzoMD Ozonated Elixir Oil starts with that same ozonated olive oil and carries it in squalane, jojoba, sunflower and rosehip, so it pours from a dropper, absorbs in about a minute and leaves no film. Two to three drops cover the face, and the 2 fl oz bottle lasts around 400 uses. The same ozonated olive oil goes into our Ozonated Face Cream alongside niacinamide, panthenol and hyaluronate.

How ozonated olive oil is made.
A method about a century old, refined for modern recovery: cold-pressed olive oil, saturated with medical-grade ozone until it holds stable ozonides, then carried in light plant lipids.
